Freestyle Academy proudly presents
Skyler G, Hector C, Jake C, and I David P did a parody on the song “All Star”. The parody was about the popular video game “Fortnite” and we sang about common occurrences and in general tried to make it a funny parody using our lyrics as the main biases of our humor. I think that this is a phenomenal parody for two main reasons. One being the lyrics. The lyrics match well with the original song, making it sound polished. The lyrics also has strong point, which it being funny/satire to the youth audience. I am most proud that my friends and I really composed well polished lyrics, and loved the whole process of composing the song. Nobody was shy about singing and gave it their absolute all. My perspective in audio in creative projects has changed drastically. It may not be the apple in the apple pie, but it is the salt and sugar which is audio that makes the difference in a creative project. Learning about audio editing is hard, but it was probably the most fun I’ve had at Freestyle.
